Buffalo River in Winter

This class will provide students with information on how to backpack, camp and hike in the winter months.  The instruction is all classroom and will  cover topics like preventing hypothermia, ice and snow travel, sleeping warm, food preparation, water collecton and clothing.  We will also discuss how to adapt to the winter environment.  For locations and dates near you, please check the events section.
