Preventing Blisters
1. Purchase boots that allow your feet to swell and break your boots in before using on the trail
2. Wear merino wool socks and/0r sock liners, that wick moisture away from your feet
3. Reduce friction by using Sportstick, Body Glide or Gold Bond on your feet
4. Treat hotspots immediately with moleskin, band-aids or duct tape
5. Change socks regularly if in a hot and humid environment
