Buffalo River Trail (Erbie to Pruitt)

This is the last stretchof the Buffalo River Trail on the upper part of the Buffalo River. The trail starts out at the Erbie campground and winds along and above the Buffalo River, past an old cemetary, through pine and hardwood forests and past old homesteads before going through both the Cedar Grove Picnic Area and the Ozark Campground. The trail continues through the wilderness from the Ozark Campground and travels past some great scenic spots and overlooks before ending at the Pruitt Ranger Station. This is another great trail, one with a little bit of everything and combined with other parts of the Buffalo River Trail can make for a dayhike, overnight trip or multi-day backpacking experience.
