This is a short, but very popular and beautiful trail. The trail winds up the Lost Valley and along Clark Creek. The trail travels through Dogwood and hardwood forest, around dramatic geological formations, a huge bluff shelter area, past a couple waterfalls and eventually to the mouth of Eden Falls Cave.
You can even enter the cave and find another 30 foot waterfall, which provides some of the water for Clark Creek. This is an excellent hike for everyone and a great hike to kids as well.
From Ponca, go south on Hwy 43 about 1.5 miles to the paved turnoff on the right, which is marked with a sign. Meander back about 1/2 a mile to the trail head parking area.
